Painting projects go better when everyone knows what to expect. Here’s how a Westhaven project works, step by step.

Tell us about your project
Start with our online estimate request. Share the type of project, the surfaces involved, your timing and — if you can — a few photos. Photos help us understand the size and condition of the space before we talk.

Estimate & conversation
We review what you’ve shared and follow up to discuss the details. Depending on the project, that may include a site visit to measure, inspect surfaces and talk through your goals.

Scope confirmation
Your written estimate outlines which surfaces are included, the preparation involved, products and finishes, and any assumptions. Questions and changes are worked out before anything is scheduled.

Scheduling
Once you approve the estimate, we coordinate a start date, materials and expectations for access, furniture and daily working hours. Exterior work is scheduled with the weather in mind.

Preparation
Floors, furniture, fixtures and landscaping are protected. Surfaces are cleaned, patched, sanded, caulked and primed as needed. This is the step that makes the finish last.

Painting
Our painting professionals apply finishes with care for clean lines and even coverage. Work areas are kept organized and tidied at the end of each day.
- 7
Final walkthrough
We walk the finished project with you to review the result and address any touch-ups before the project is complete.
